Eirini Scott
“Everything I do, I do with meraki.”
Meraki (Greek V. μεράκι)
The word Meraki is of Greek origins and means to do something with soul, creativity or love and to put something of yourself into your work.
I knew I wanted to be a designer from a young age. Even back then, I wanted to channel my creativity into fashion, so I moved to America to study and then later headed to the UK, where I graduated with a BA Hons degree in Fashion Design with Technology from Manchester Metropolitan University.
That was two decades ago(!) and since then I’ve forged a career that I truly love, becoming a fashion & print designer with an unwavering commitment to helping clients achieve their goals, whether they’re an international retailer, or a small sustainable startup.
“ We’ve had the pleasure of working with Eirini over a period of several months to design our launch collection. She helped us to define the brand looks/aesthetics, design the clothing, create the tech packs as well as work with a local pattern maker to make the patterns and samples. Through this process, she really took the time to understand what we wanted to achieve and demonstrated her ability to balance our ideas with her experience and staying true to the vision and create something that we were very happy with in the end. On top of designing clothes, she also gave us some great thoughts and ideas for our overall brand that we incorporated into other areas of the business. We will happily work with her again and look forward to the next opportunity to do so!”

Why work with me?
My designs are unique, creative, inspired and innovative… but of course, I’m bound to say that!
Honestly, my greatest asset, my secret sauce, my USP and my “je ne sais quois”', is all wrapped up in the wealth of experience I have. While I’ve worked with big brands such as Marks & Spencer, Joules Kids, Debenhams and Tesco F&F, I have also designed for independent kids’ brands such as Shirley Bredal and small startups. Having spent twenty years honing my craft across product and process, I have developed a deep and holistic understanding of the clothing industry as a whole. This often proves to be an invaluable asset for my clients, saving them time and money by predicting the common hurdles or challenges that could come their way.
Similarly, the strong signature and creativity that I inject into my clothing, textile design and technical skills is complemented by a keen commercial awareness, bolstered by my strong working relationships in Europe, India and the Far East. In addition to making beautiful collections for you, it is also my mission to make successful collections that sell.
I love collaborating with like-minded, inspiring creatives and am happy to be involved in as much or as little of the project as you need. This can be at any stage; from initial concept and sourcing, all the way through to production. So while I am laser-focused and detail-driven, I am super flexible!
Where to go from here?
I’m still just as passionate, driven and excited as I was when I first started my career twenty years ago. I truly love turning my clients’ visions into a concrete creation, so get in touch and we can start doing just that!
