Once you have decided to move forward, I’ll send you a contact, set up your payment schedule and pick a start date.
Research time
Time for you to gather all your rough ideas and research to send over. Based on your requirements I research and collate mood boards that identify the mood, colour, print, shape, and fabric direction for your products. I send PDF Boards via link/ discuss, do amendments (if applicable) and agree on the direction of the range.
Design/ Sourcing time
This is my favourite part; All starts with a pencil and a sketch pad as I let all my design juices fly away. Then I bring the best sketches to life in Illustrator (Computer Aided Design programme) where I add the colour, prints, fabrics etc. I always throw some extra options as I collate the product boards to send over for your approval. Sent through PDF of the boards, make amends- if necessary, send over final cads/sketches sign off.
Source manufacturer, fabrics, trims to make samples and send over for your approval.
Yeahhh! Tech packs
Produce detailed garment tech sketches to be sent to factories for samples. Tech packs include colour cad, technical black and white sketch, fabric, trim, colour, and detailed garment construction details, including sample size measurements. Prepare and sent PDFS to you and the factories.
Produce graphic tech packs to be sent to factories. These will include pantone references, technique, repeat and size. Prepare and send PDFS to the factories.
Taking care of development
Liaise with the factories throughout the development stage to ensure any sample queries are addressed in the most efficient, cost effective and professional manner. Attend fit sessions and communicate fit comments clearly to the technical and production team, approve lap dibs and print strike offs. Continuous communication with the factory until production is delivered on your doorstep-yeah!!! 😊
Final Touches
It is time to launch your product(s) into the world. I’ll be there right behind you to ensure that everything runs smoothly. I can also help with designing an awesome look book or point of sale posters for social media, trade shows or perspective buyers.
